Castlebar Celtic won their third under 18 League in a row after a deserved victory over Charlestown.The first half was a tight affair with Celtic going in at the break with a one goal advantage scored by Peter Drevins.In the second half Celtic stepped up a gear and goals by Seamus Staunton and Danny Fallon put it beyond Charlestown. Umbro Kennedy U.13 Cup: The 2008 Kennedy Cup for Mayo was a pretty good campaign for Mayo, reaching the Bowl Final, before bravely going down to Wexford on penalties. Mayo only lost one game in regulation time, and that was to the eventual tournament winners and perennial favourites, the DDSL. It just keeps getting better for Mayo here in Limerick, in cooler conditions here this morning as the Westerners advanced to the Kennedy Bowl Final with an emphatic 3-0 win over Drogheda. After the dissapointment of losing the final group game 4-0 to The DDSL, Mayo bounced back today beating a strong Kilkenny team on penalty kicks.Kilkenny opened the scoring in the first half, but Mayo stormed back in the second half with a well executed goal by the ever improving Noe Baba. Two second half goals by Aidan OSullivan and substitute Andrew Peters ensured Mayos victory this afternoon against Inishowen League. The final group game this evening sees Mayo taking on the Dublin and District League. This will be a tougher test as the DDSL are current champions and are bidding fifth title in a row. The DDSL have won the title 23 times since the competition began in 1976.
