Mayo progresing well in George Best Cup

Mayo U.17s travelled to Belfast to take part in the George Best Community Cup and were pitted in a group with Cregagh Wanderers, Doyle FC and Cabinteely United.Mayo's first game was against Cregagh Wanderers at Ashfield Boys High School and Mayo dominated the game from start to finish. Charlestown Reach Under 16 Connaught Cup Final

Congratulations are extended to Charlestown Athletic after they overcame stiff opposition in Corofin United from Galway to reach the Under 16 Connaught Final. Achill Rovers First Title Winners 2009

Achill Rovers became the first club to claim a League Trophy this season, when they captured the Under 12 division 4A title last night in the Valley Grounds. A 6-2 victory over Ballina Town capped a remarkable season, where this team remains unbeaten in the league.Mayo Schoolboys / Girls and Youths Chairman Tom Mullens was on hand to present the league shield to the winning captain. Under 14 boys League defered

At last nights Annual General Meeting the clubs asked that next Wednesdays first round matches in the under 14 Boys League be deferred until the following week due to Ireland v Italy match. This request was granted and first round fixtures will now start on Wednesday 8th March.

New Season Kicks Off Tuesday 31st March

The 2009 season will kick off on Tuesday 31st March with a round of under 14 girls fixtures. the Under 14 Boys will kick off the following night. The under 12 Boys start on Friday 3rd April with the under 12 girls commencing on Monday 6th April. All games will have a 6:30 PM kick off.
